Maximizing Your University Life with Notion: A Comprehensive Guide - Beamlak Tareke

As a university student, keeping track of classes, assignments, notes and extracurricular activities can be overwhelming.  A great way to keep these in check is using a tool called Notion.

💻 What is Notion?

Notion is a powerful online workspace and organizational tool. If you’re a student, it can be a great way to track your classes and assignments, keep your course materials together, and collaborate with classmates. The best part is that Notion is free to use. You can get access to additional pro features if you have a student account or upgrade pro features, but the free version is also more than enough.

🧑🏾 How I use Notion

Notion completely transformed my note-taking and organizational game. I have been using notion for about 4 years now. I initially got started with notion in order to keep me organized over highschool when I was completing my International Baccalaureate program. Over the 2 years of the Diploma program, school tasks starting from planning to scheduling, and executing tasks, keeping track of university applications, and extracurriculars, everything was done in notion (check out my International Baccalaureate notion template here).  In university, I developed similar workspaces to keep me on track for different tasks such as notes and task management for school work, coding workspaces, managing finances and work-related tasks. It has become my go-to app for all of my needs.

❓Why you should use Notion

Notion can store much information while being a free app/ software. In addition, the notion can be adaptable to your needs with different features that are already built in. It acts like the place to go to when you need to get shit done. It really helps you to stay on track and get organized with all your tasks.
